Just an idea that I would play every game I own between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. How many days is that? I don’t know, but its probably enough time to play about 100 games . . so it should be fun.
First game was Dinosaur Island on 5/24/19. Really fun game with lots of layers.
Second game was WingSpan on 5/25/19. Great game and lots of fun. Gorgeous game about birds. Kind of lacks a compelling ending as the game kind of just stops and then you count points. I think collecting victory conditions as you go make the game a little unfocused. All in all a great game.
Third game is Tiny Towns on 5/2719. An awesome game that you can play in about 45 minutes. Highly recommend as a filler / beer and pretzels game.
Kingdom Death Monster. Pretty much an ongoing game throughout summer vacation. My god this gam is amazing. 5/29/19
The White Lion
Second hunt and first hit is a critical. Of course he became enraged and mauled on of my survivors to death. Yay . . . Kingdom Death!
7th Continent. Another ongoing legacy game. 6/4/19. My daughter and I love this game. It takes a few starts and start overs to get it right but its worth it! Probably one of the best games published in a long time.
Civilization on 6/13/19 . . great game with my daughter. We like. it spicy so we double up the map, civ’s and win with two victory conditions.
Kemet on 6/16/19. I like Kemet . . its pretty much . . now FIGHT! and feel free to give yourself some god powers as you go. Outside game with beer with great weather.
Fields of Arle by Uwe Rosenberg is probably his tightest and best designed game. What I love about it is that its designed for two players. Do yourself a favor and add it to your collection.
Dr. Evil and the Citadel of Time on 6/26/19. Co-op game with a really elegant AI that is simple and smooth. This games is pretty fun and can be very challenging. I think it would be fun for family or friends who want to do a game but not too heavy.
Neanderthal on 6/28/19. More game in that tiny box than most ‘coffin-box’ games. Phil Eklund is a freakin genius. Do yourself a favor and study for the Bar and get your license to practice law before you crack open one of Phil’s rulebooks. Its a great game, though! Greenland in the background; the idea is to play consecutive games linking both games.
Brass 10/6/19. Probably one of the best Euro-Style games on the market. We played a 4 player game and it really was incredibly fun. We all agreed that it was remarkable Sunday morning game session.
Tapestry is a great games. Stonemaier Games really knocked it out f the park with this one. In about 2 hours build a civilization . . . kind of. I’d say it’s more of a tableaux builder with minimal player interaction.
